Kevin and Taylor

For over 20 years Kevin and Taylor have been the morning team on the Fish in Atlanta, Georgia. Their highly rated and award winning program is fun and interesting to listen to as they talk about their respective families and adventures. Their program takes WGTH to another level. Listen in between 3:00 and 7:00 Monday through Friday afternoons for Kevin and Taylor on 105.5 FM and 540 WGTH, the Sheep.

Ron and Edythe Brown

Children: Christian Paul, age 44, Bethany, age 42, Jonathan, age 40, Timothy, age 38, Benjamin, age 27, and Daniel, age 24. Grandchildren: Kellsie Ronae, Charles Morgan, Ryan David, Elsa Joanne, Andi Shea, Taylor Brook, Everly Rose, Emmitt William, Bowen Franklin, Brady Maxwell (born July 30, 2022) Nora Elodie (born August 22, 2022) and Stella Kate (born August 19, 2023)

Ron Brown

Birthday: January 6

Ron is the General Manager of WGTH and host of the "Rooster Ron Wake-up Show" since 1979. Ron graduated from Virginia Tech in 1976. He was General Manager of WUVT at Virginia Tech in 1975 and 76. He also worked at WPUV, Super 7Q, WFHG, and WMJD prior to working at WGTH. "The Lord has blessed me so much to allow me to live my dream, by doing what I always wanted to do and to be able to do it for Him. People have been so good to my family and me. Richlands is a very special place and we love it dearly."

Edythe Brown

April

April has been with WGTH for 15 years. She started the day of the Cedar Bluff Heritage Festival in 2009. April is our Operations Director at WGTH. She is a graduate of Richlands High School and a 2008 graduate of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. In 2007, she studied abroad, learning radio broadcasting and production at the University of Sunderland in Sunderland, England. You can hear April middays on WGTH. We're glad to have her as part of our team!

Pastor J

Pastor Jason Lockard is Pastor of the Doran Wesleyan Church. He previously worked in radio at WCIW in Reidsville, North Carolina. Pastor J loves the Lord and is very enthusiastic. He's fun to listen to on Saturday mornings on WGTH.

Elliot Stewart

Elliot does an outstanding job with the Friday night and Saturday morning High School Football Scoreboard on WGTH. Elliot has been with WGTH for several years in the late summer and fall. He is from Grundy and grew up next to WNRG where he learned the trade. He worked at WGTH in the 80's and returned in 2004.

Charlene Pinkerton

Charlene is our Sales Manager and has been with WGTH since 1979. A lifelong resident of the Jewell Ridge and Cedar Bluff area, her clients love her honesty and sincere commitment to their success and well being. Charlene is married and has two daughters and eight grandchildren.
